Welcome to Ideal Optical/Ideal Eyecare. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. General Terms
1.1 - These Terms govern the use of all services provided by Ideal Optical/Ideal Eyecare, including but not limited to eye exams, prescription eyewear, contact lenses, and related products or services.
1.2 - By using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent.
1.3 - We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice.
2. Appointments and Consultations
2.1 - Appointments for eye exams and other services must be scheduled in advance.
2.2 - Cancellations or rescheduling should be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Failure to do so may result in cancellation fees.
2.3 - We reserve the right to refuse or reschedule services at our discretion.
3. Product Purchases and Orders
3.1 - All purchases of prescription eyewear, contact lenses, and accessories are subject to availability.
3.2 - Customers must provide a valid prescription for prescription lenses and contact lenses.
3.3 - Ideal Optical/Ideal Eyecare is not responsible for errors arising from outdated or incorrect prescriptions provided by the customer.
3.4 - Special orders require full payment before processing and are non-refundable unless defective.
3.5 - Please take note that Ideal Optical/Eyecare will not hold and is not responsible for any unpaid products left unclaimed 60 days beyond the patient being notified. Any such items will be returned to stock.
4. Pricing and Payments
4.1 - Prices for services and products are subject to change without notice.
4.2 - Payments must be made at the time of service or product purchase unless otherwise agreed upon.
4.3 - We accept various payment methods, including cash, credit/debit cards, and insurance where applicable.
4.4 - Any outstanding balances must be settled before additional services or products are provided.
5. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
5.1 - Prescription eyewear and contact lenses are custom-made and non-refundable unless defective or incorrect due to an error on our part.
5.2 - Refunds will be processed according to our Return and Refund Policy.
5.3 - Adjustments and minor repairs for purchased eyewear may be provided at our discretion.
6. Insurance and Warranty
6.1 - We accept various insurance plans; however, it is the customer's responsibility to confirm coverage.
6.2 - Manufacturer warranties apply to eligible products. Any claims must be made within the warranty period.
6.3 - Warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by misuse, neglect, or accidents.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
7.1 - Your personal information is protected under our Privacy Policy.
7.2 - We collect and store information necessary to provide services, process payments, and fulfill legal obligations.
7.3 - We do not sell or share personal information with third parties without consent, except as required by law.
8. Liability and Disclaimers
8.1 - We strive to provide accurate and professional services; however, we do not guarantee the accuracy of prescriptions provided by third parties.
8.2 - Ideal Optical/Ideal Eyecare is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from the use of our products or services, except where prohibited by law.
8.3 - Customers are advised to follow all care instructions for eyewear and contact lenses to prevent damage or injury.
9. Governing Law
9.1 - These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
9.2 - Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
