FOR A GLITCH FREE VISION
If you’ve been relying on glasses or contacts for a while, you may have thought about laser eye surgery as an option. Laser eye surgery can correct your vision and reduce your dependence on corrective eyewear.

While we don’t perform the surgery ourselves, we’re here to help you navigate the process. Our experienced team can assess whether you’re a suitable candidate for laser eye surgery and provide referrals to trusted ophthalmologists in our network. And don’t worry – our support doesn’t end after your surgery. We offer post-operative care to ensure your eyes heal properly and you achieve the best results.

WHAT WE DO

First, we’ll conduct a thorough assessment of your eye and vision health to determine if laser eye surgery is right for you. This comprehensive review helps minimize any risks associated with the procedure. Once we’ve established your candidacy, we’ll refer you to one of our preferred ophthalmologists who specialize in laser eye surgery.

After scheduling your surgery, we’ll arrange your post-operative care appointments. These appointments are crucial for monitoring your healing process and addressing any concerns you may have. We recommend regular follow-up appointments over a six-month period, starting the day after your surgery. Additionally, we’ll conduct a comprehensive eye exam to evaluate your long-term results and ensure your eyes are healthy.

TYPES OF LASER EYE SURGERY

During PRK surgery, an ophthalmologist uses a laser to reshape the surface of your cornea, correcting your vision. After the procedure, a bandage contact lens is placed on your eye to protect it while it heals. Although your vision may be blurry initially, it will improve within a few days.

LASIK involves creating a small flap in the outer layer of your cornea, which is then folded back. The middle layers of the cornea are reshaped using a laser before the flap is replaced. You’ll typically experience the effects of the surgery within 24 hours.

Some patients opt for refractive lens exchange, where the natural lens of the eye is replaced with intraocular lenses (IOLs). This procedure is akin to getting permanent contact lenses and offers an alternative for those who may not be suitable candidates for corneal refractive surgery.
